Remember, remember the fifth of November.
It’s strange how those who oppose the government in their country or other countries attack the civilians instead of the government. Even if some of the civilians agree to what the government is doing doesn’t mean they are the ones who are at fault. Sometimes you have to go directly to the source to try to fix the problem.
This is what Guy Fawkes did. Instead of attacking the people, he planned to attack the king. Me personally I prefer using diplomacy, but if violence is needed you attack the source, not the people around it.
People have become too lazy and afraid to fight for their right to have freedom and privacy. It seems like we enjoy being controlled by the government and that we have forgotten how it was to have freedom and privacy.
I see the same tendencies at work. Most workers are very unhappy with the situation, but they rather be silent than maybe improve their work environment because they fear they might lose their job if they speak up.
All in all, if we continue with becoming more apathetic we will lose everything our parents and their parents before them fought for.
We can complain all we want, but nothing happens until we do something.
