I didn’t expect you to show up today.

I received my new Asus Eee Pc 1000H today, as I hoped. The store called me around 12 today and told me that I could pick it up. As I was getting a new toy, Lizzie hoped for one too. She really enjoyed the Eee Pc with Fedora on it, but she had to come to me when she had a problem and her YouTube experience wasn’t that great. For over a year now she had been dreaming about a Mac, so I looked over our economy and now she has a new Macbook.

Before you think we are some kind of big spenders, I have to stop you there. The only reason we manage to treat ourselves to these nice toys is because she has more or less given me the responsibility when it comes to handling our money. I like living a good life, but I also love saving money so you have some extra money in case of a rainy day or you feel like treating yourself with something nice.

At the moment I’m doing the last configurations on my new Eee Pc and will sadly retire the old Eee Pc. I thought about using it as a NAS, but I’ll probably sell it or something.
