Routine can actually be boring.
I kind of had big plans for this weekend. Getting the Australian immigration worked out, applying to two jobs, translating a text from Norwegian to English and writing an article or two. Didn’t really do any of them actually. I guess the only useful thing I did was to make lunch for two days next week.
Do I hear someone whisper procrastination?
What I did this weekend was installing Wine on my Eee Pc; and then installing Spotify and ReBirth 338. Both applications running great under Fedora 10. I also installed and configured TOR + Privoxy, which was fun; as I ended up writing a short howto on it.
I even played some GTA last night.
Other than that I’ve just been extremely lazy, being a geek and playing with my computer; and then I’ve been a hubby, sitting on the couch with the missus watching TV.
And getting my hair trimmed by the missus. That was very nice and I’m very grateful that she helped me with it.
Tomorrow I’m back at work, doing the same thing as I did last week; forcing myself meeting the deadlines and creating good statistics. Instead I feel like taking a week off, for myself; so I could catch up with my life outside of work.
I need to get the Australian immigration settled or find a new job.
