Waiting forever to be told to wait.
I feel lucky to have found the place I had the interview and to survive the insane Brisbane traffic. This part of Brisbane is insane. I have driven through there once and it is horrible; it is complete chaos.
The interview went very well. At least that is how I felt and what I was told by the person in charge. I am not sure if anyone would have called me an introvert during that interview, but I managed to keep the conversation going and give acceptable answers.
I was so bold to ask if they could get back to me later today, as I explained my situation. I learned that it is the same company that kind of has hired me, but as of now I am assigned to another team; they just need to get me to the one I really want. Technically it should not be any problems at all, as I have not signed a contract so I have no legally binding agreement with the first team.
This job is more stable and up my ally; it’s seems also to be run by a much more organised team.
Worst case scenario is that they can’t get swap me and I am stuck with doing something I do not want to do. The fact is that it has turned out to be something completely different from what they originally told us.
If this happen they will learn that Norwegian drive a hard bargain; as I will tell both to get stuffed.
This is the attitude that has made me get the jobs I wanted. They haven’t been top-notch jobs all the time, but I still have worked for pretty big companies by standing my ground.
That is all I have to say for now. I am sweating like crazy and even the cold beer I am drinking is not helping me. It is sweating more than me.
I will try to be more annoying tomorrow; if the heat does not drain me for too much energy, again.

Waiting is hell! Hope you get the good one!
