Tell me what to write about, now!

As some of my friends, in cyberspace and meatspace, suggested that I should write a book, I have actually thought about doing it. It has been a wish of mine to actually write a book, but the only knowledge and experience I have about and with writing is blogging and reading blogs, books and other published styles of writing.

With polls I have tried to give you, the humble reader of my blog, the  power to almost tell me blindly what to write. I judged, based on my statistics, that far more people would hit the voting button; but that seemed to have been a very poor judgement from my side.
I want to also add that the free ebook will be about 50 pages. Nothing long, but nothing too short either.

Plan B is that I will present you with a few ideas of my own, you comment down there in the comment section and I will make my final decision next weekend.

  1. A brief story about my trip to Australia and what I have experienced here so far. It will be written as how a foreigner experience a new country and culture for the first time.
With this story I will try to use it as a good practice in Gonzo writing; so a good mix of non-fiction and facts, but also a but of fiction to exaggerate my experience moving to Oz.
  2. A fictional thriller/drama about a serial killer; what he experience in a short period of time. The setting will be in either Gothenburg or Amsterdam; two cities I know well.

There is really not much to say than, let me know what you think about these two projects. Do you have any other suggestions? Let me know.

OMG! The first choice sounded wonderful, and I thought surely that would be a great book, but – I can never resist a good serial killer. I love serial killer books where we are in on his thoughts plus any games he plays with law enforcement.

I agree, which is why it is a tough choice even for me.

I think it would be great fun to write about my trip over to Oz-land; but as I am a huge fan of Dexter the serial killer would be a great experience too.

I will figure it out, somehow. It is more about which one should I write first. ;)
