Unfortunately they have to cater for their larger market first.

I sympathise with the developers as they're constantly being compared to WMP and iTunes despite the fact that they're only available for one platform (or two in the case of iTunes), they have a much larger development team and have been in development for much longer.

Still, I understand your points too. All of the features people constantly request and demand are coming, but unfortunately it'll take time

That is true, some people are never pleased. Especially Mac and Linux users who always end up at the back of the queue.

As I briefly mentioned, I do understand it is a difficult task to develop for three platforms; but as I also mentioned, Mac and Linux users are tired of waiting in limbo not knowing when they also can enjoy the new features.

I can point out a bit more things directed at your comment, but then I might run the risk of repeating what I have already written. :)
I am still using Songbird and I love the software; I am just being tired of being left behind as usual just because I am using Linux.

There's just no pleasing some people. Users had complained at the development time of 1.4.2 so they released it and now people complain.
