Stop insinuating I am unemployed by choice!
Yesterday I left yet another blank spot in my blogging routine without saying anything why. I can start by saying I was too pissed off to write or do anything. All I did that afternoon was sitting in the study looking for word and staring at the screen with anger.
I can only assume I have made it very clear to everyone that I am extremely frustrated with not having a job yet here in Australia. Not everyone reads my blog, but those close to me do not need to read my blog to understand I am not being unemployed by choice.
Still I am told to find a job constantly and it is doing my head in at the moment!
If you know someone who also is looking for a job or just lost their job, telling them that they need to find job is not some kind of magical sentence that gives the person a new job the morning after those words has been spoken. Repeating them has the same useless effect; nothing will happen.
The most important thing to get a job is to look for work and apply for advertised jobs. If a person is doing that, well, sorry to have to say this, but you just have to be patient. Applying for work is one of those things you need to be realistic with. Look at your experiences, skills and everything else in your CV and you will understand what jobs are worth applying for. Also, you can not apply for jobs that do not fit your personality.
Get real! Applying for any job do not mean you will get a job quicker.
At the moment, I do not want to be too specific, people around me are not helping at all. I am looking for jobs and applying for them, but so far I have not lucked out. Is that my fault? It will definitely not help trying to making me all stressed and sending me on a big guilt trip.
Of course, you would think that when you apply for entry level job that you would assume takes anyone and they do not contact you back, that should set of an alarm that applying for any job is not helping at all. Applying for these jobs and they probably take one look at my CV and wonder why I bother applying at all, because as soon something better comes along I will leave that job. They are right though, because if I get a entry level job, but suddenly get a better job I will leave instantly.
It makes it difficult to motivate yourself and trying to sell yourself when all you hear around you is negative talk. I do not know anyone who is motivated by complaining. Most people I know get stressed and even depressed if someone is complaining or speaking in a negative way to them.
I really hope I get a job soon. We really need the money and I am going crazy not doing something during the days. Last time I was in a similar situation it did not end well; it ended well for me personally, but not the people around me.
Hopefully some of you can take my honesty. If not, I do not care as that is your problem, not mine.
Also, I hope you can look past the chaotic style this has been written in.
Live long and prosper.

Dear friend. I accidentally found your blog and read the above entry. i am not going to read anything else out there.
I see you are a very lucky man who has ample time. why do you need to run for a job. if you don’t have enough food, eat once a day. but don’t feel this moment as an ordeal. You are given the opportunity to sit and cotemplate. Why do you need to pick anything from the floor. you are the source. you can create your own life. sit and contemplate for 7 consecutive days. and be aware, you are going to percieve your subconcious. I was unemployed for continous 6 years. But when somebody told me the same trick, i got a great start.
so don’t run for any job. stop asking for help from anyone. just sit for some days and look within. you will get a start. and don’t forget to thank God for giving you ample time. even billionaires don’t have that opportunity.
you are bound to get everything. be informed. Know thyself.
