Has 27b/6 been shutdown or is it just another prank? [updated]

I am not sure if everyone knows what 27b/6 means; is it a website, a new law or something from a book? You might get the same reaction if you say the name, David Thorne. But I am sure everyone knows about the seven-legged spider, if not, click the link and read about it; or just stop reading and go on about your life.
A few days ago he announced he had an exciting investment opportunity that people could partake in. What you invested in was the purchase of drugs that would be sold of at a higher price than they had been purchased for based on the supply and demand principle; and those who invested would earn some extra cash.
For those who know about his earlier works, this would of course most likely be a prank. Apparently someone did not find it funny or actually thought this was true, so a few days ago David Thorne got a letter from South Australia police department about having to take the page down. In typical David Thorne style he started to prank the officer who sent him this letter, but later on agreed to take the page down, 1 minute before the deadline.
He did not really take the investment page down, but changed the words ‘drugs’ to ‘cats’. Which is what you would expect him to do.
When I woke up today I was greeted with this tweet from the missus:
27b/6 has been shut down by the SA police. Fucking assholes.
I have sent a short and silly email to David, asking what is going down; because for all we know it can just be one of his ingenious pranks. Hopefully it is a prank, because if his website has been shutdown because of a prank it clearly shows that Australia is turning into a totalitarian police state with no humour what so ever (the government, not the people).
I will be updating if I come across any new information regarding this.
