At least now I know who I can count on.

A few days ago I created an account at Spreadshirt so I could put some of my t-shirt designs up for sale, in hope to earn some money. I will at most earn $1 per t-shirt sold,  as I want to start selling at a very low price in the beginning in hope to get as many customers as possible.

As most of you hopefully know, I am still struggling with finding work in Australia; and by just getting a dollar here and there is much more than getting nothing at all.

When I did announce a few days ago on Twitter that I had opened my store, a few times— even with a blog post about how I am desperate for help —only two of my followers supported me with retweets; and that was my wife and a good friend I have met on twitter.

It is fair to say that some might not use twitter anymore or weren’t using it that day, but I still find it hard to believe that the other 285 people following me apparently found it not that important to just click the retweet button and click ‘yes’.
I thought I was followed because I wrote stuff worth reading?  I also assumed that we help someone in need online if they ask for help? I guess I was wrong.

When you really need help you learn quickly who your true friends are.
So from this kind of disappointing experience I will go through my list of people I follow and probably remove a few. Some I will remove because they have completely changed and is not the person I followed in the beginning.
Hopefully most of you read this before you start asking why I unfollowed you. I never why you should ask when someone unfollows you; get over it! So what if someone unfollows you; are you going to start kissing arse now?

Out with the old, in with the new; out with the bad, in with the good.

Tweet short and witty.
