I am unemployed because I am a foreigner.

A very good friend of mine that I met in The Netherlands moved back to Norway  about three weeks ago. She applied to a job ad on Wednesday and received an offer on Saturday*.
I am truly happy for her and wish I could be there in person to congratulate her.

With that said, I have almost been in Australia for one year and I am still without a job. I am sorry if you think I am making a very biased and judgemental assumption, but this is just more evidence that I am without a job in this country because I am a foreigner.

With the experiences and skills, that I have repeated several articles ad nauseum, I would probably have a similar experience if I went back to Norway or Sweden.
Hopefully I will be accepted at Bond University next year so I can at least get a degree and do something while I am here.

Maybe I should do something similar like what this guy is doing?

* It is a while since I wrote this article, and that job did not work out for my friend. Despite that, she has another possible job opportunity; so my claim still stands, I am without a job most likely because I am a foreigner.
