Aliens landed in his backyard?

When people are talking about UFOs and aliens they tend to be looked at with scepticism, or like they are completely crazy. While if someone says they have spoken to God (which one?) they are completely normal and just a devoted follower of their religion.

Interesting how something that is assumed to have a physical form and based on random sightings by regular people and scientists can get so stigmatized; while I do agree some of the followers tend to go a bit too far with their so called evidence and claims. On the other hand, anything that has to do with God (who?), which is not a physical being, is accepted blindly; but they also have their fair share of insane followers too that think opinions are facts.

The picture above was sent to me by some random person claiming this is a picture of his lawn after some aliens landed in his yard one night beginning of this year (2010).
Judging by the size of the road and trees, it seems to maybe have a diameter of about 5-6 meters.

He went on telling me that he vaguely remembers a very deep rumble or a low frequency hum and some bright flashing lights that night. As he was sleeping, and very tired, he thought nothing of it at that time as in his sleepy daze he assumed it was just some thunderstorm passing by.
Until he woke up the day after seeing what had happened to his lawn.

Also take notice of the tiny tree, close to the claimed landing spot, it is almost white. He claims that it was almost as dark as the larger tree behind it.

Of course, this assumed landing spot can be anything. It can even be artificial, who knows? Well, the person who sent me the picture knows — or does he?
All I know is that this can be considered evidence, but if it is proven to be a scam I honestly do not care. It is important to be able to be honest about what is actually based on facts and truthful evidence. Pretending that this guy is telling the truth just to boost your own insecurity will not help anyone at all.

This is something religious people need to understand. Take the bible as an example, again and again recorded history has proven that certain claims in the bible are wrong or have only been based on a local incident.

With that said, what turns grass brown within a controlled area and a tree white in probably less than 12 hours?
I don’t know — do you? All I know though is that I do not have enough evidence to believe, but it still makes and interesting story to tell.

Live long and prosper.

Note: If I knew I would tell you all where this happened, but I have yet not been given that information.
