Drivers from hell — also known as QLD.
As some of you might have noticed, I am not too impressed by QLD drivers. I don’t claim to be an expert driver myself, but I will at least drive within the speed limit and refrain from tailgating.
Every time I take the car out for a drive I see people speeding and tailgating; and I personally see tailgating far more dangerous than speeding.
I have seen so many insane incidents on the road I can’t really pick one specific to talk about, but today I might have seen the worst lorry driver ever.
As I was heading down Boundary street, towards West End, I see a huge lorry entering Boundary street from Brereton street. These streets are very narrow and have two road islands with a sign each that says ‘Keep left’. These two signs became flattened as the lorry driver had to drive over these two road islands to be able to enter Boundary street.
Of course, the idiocy didn’t end there. From Boundary street towards Edmonton street the lorry driver decided to take up two lanes for just going straight. From Edmonton street the shit-for-brains decided to go left on Edmonton street and on to Russel street. Nothing seemed to get rampaged, but the extraordinary driver had to do a wide turn, reverse and try again to be able to go down Russel street.
I thought about following the lorry and call the police, but I couldn’t be bothered. The lorry stopped farther down Russel street, so I hoped he/she called for help or decided to take a look at this wonderful thing called a map.
Just in case, I memorised the license plate of the lorry, which is: QXP 503
Itinarary of ‘QXP 503′ [Google Maps]
