Can I have deafness sprinkled with germs to go, please?

Had to pick up some pencils, an eraser and a sharpener to bring with me to the STAT today. I did find those things pretty quickly, but while doing so I had an experience that made my misanthropy grow a little bit more.

I have noticed that some mothers have developed this skill to tune-out their own child when it starts to scream and cry for attention, but that doesn’t mean it is okay or should be acceptable to do so. Why should everyone else be subjected to this torture, just because you decided to squeeze one out? And it doesn’t really work in your favour seeing you ignore your kid.

On top of that, while you are ignoring your kid [thinking they will understand you are making a point by doing so], it would be nice if you paid some attention to your kid so they don’t start putting pencil sharpeners in their mouth to check if it is better than their old and boring pacifier.

Must be lovely be that kind of parent, not having a care in the world, just hoping everyone else around them picks up after their mess. It is probably less stressful too, as everyone else is doing your job, as a parent.
Perfect example of the status of our society at the moment. No one wants to take responsibility; they just expect everyone else around them do things for them and take the blame if something goes wrong.
What happened to accountability and being responsible for your own actions? What happened to being part of society by being a team player?

What we need is a aptitude test to see if you are fit to be a parent.

Note: I know, I know. I said I would not be writing anything today, but I am taking well earned break from my STAT preparation.
