One cold coming up!

It is that time again, when I count three days back from when I started to notice the symptoms [of a cold]. Trying to figure out how I got; hoping I can remember who sneezed of coughed in my general direction, so I can picture myself giving that person a good old beating.

I know it sounds a bit crazy and that I might be one step away being locked in a padded cell, but you might also kind of understand if you have noticed how much I hate having a cold.
As I have mentioned before, when I get a cold it is like my brain shuts down and I become this angry zombie who actually tries to avoid people.

Having a cold wouldn’t be such a bother if society hadn’t stigmatised it so much. If you get a really nasty cold and want to be left alone for a while so you can rest and hopefully get well quicker, you are seen as being a huge cry baby that is too weak to be allowed to be part of a functioning society. Because who wants to be friends with or employ someone who, FSM forbid, might catch a cold now and then each year because that person has an inferior immune system?

What annoys me the most now is that I started to feel a bit under the weather yesterday, when I probably took the most important test in my life. A test that will be my ticket to the career of my dreams, if I managed to pass it while being completely unfocused thanks to this bloody cold.

I also had a bunch of articles I wanted to write, but at the moment I do not feel too focused. Yes, I know, I am writing this, but this is just what you might call a page filler.
So far the cold seems to be very mild, but every time I say that I wakeup a week later feeling like I have been to hell and back again.

I beg you all, if you have a cold or anything else that might be contagious (and worse than a cold), please cough in your elbow, wash your hands and don’t go out in public (unless you need food and have no friends to get it for you).

My Twitter feed will most likely be updated daily as usual, but I am not sure when I will post something here [in this blog].

Live long and prosper.
