Kronicles of Damiana
Kronic is expensive and you are only told it is kronic. What is it? Is some kind of plant that anyone can grow very easily and for just some pocket change? Maybe the “synthetic” stuff is something you can buy at your local supermarket or pharmacy. All you know is that some sell it as an incense and that it will make you high. What it is, is a secret.
If you are looking for a legal high, like yours truly, and want to know what you ingest or inhale; from experience I can suggest damiana. On Erowid you can read that ‘some claim damiana tea has a relaxing effect not-unlike low doses of cannabis’ which is not too far from the truth. It is also most likely weaker than Kronic. So before you rush out to get legally high on damiana, you will not get off your face high as you can on marijuana and Kronic. The biggest difference between these three substances is that you know what you inhale when you smoke damiana or marijuana, when you inhale Kronic you really do not know what it is.
Within an hour I have smoked two spliffs of damiana. I feel relaxed and when listening to music is somewhat more trippy; almost like you are one with the music. You hear every note — you hear everything. Sometimes I pause and just sit there, staring at the screen. Breathing… It is a slightly different high than marijuana. At least from what I remember when I lived in The Netherlands. It is a nice substitute if you want to get legally high.
If I was given kronic I would of course not say no, but not knowing what I am really paying for is not that tempting. I can not justify spending that kind of money on something I might be able to grow myself or make myself. If not, at least let me know I am buying something really, really exclusive.
I have spoken to a few that have tried kronic and it is somewhat similar to marijuana. Two things seem to be mentioned every time I have a chat with someone about it. That it is somewhat pricy and if you can get your hands on bush bud it is a far better choice, even if it is illegal.
It has been about 30 minutes since I took my last toke and the damiana is already wearing off. Seems like I have to try to dig deep in my pockets for some change and try to get some Kronic. Experience if it is really that great and worth the price.
