I laugh at deadlines

First semester back at school I learned how to improve my writing and better know what is good and bad writing. This in turn made realise I’m not such a bad writer as my conscience wants me to believe. The unfortunate side effect of that is a more inflated ego. Writing assignments the night before the due date and receiving top marks.

So far the second semester is going okay, but I’m too confident. Leaving assignments to the last minute. But so far my marks haven’t dropped. So I couldn’t care less if I spend a few extra hours killing zombies instead of taking worthless notes for an essay.

I guess this will come in handy when I start working full-time as a journalist. Producing high quality work within a short period of time. An editors dream. All s/he has to deal with is my inflated ego and constantly saying: “Yeah yeah, you’ll have your article before the deadline, don’t worry.”

Also, don’t ever have a nap after you’ve had a glass of red. Bloody acid reflux is driving me nuts. *burp*

Same here, close to a deadline I seem to be at my best haha. Nothing wrong with that, even though it’s a bit risky sometimes..
