Lost in /dev/null

I’m taking chance by writing this. Not because it is a controversial topic, but because I’m not sure if it will be saved. I should copy the text before clicking the ‘Publish’ button, but why do I need to take a precaution like that? If I need to do things like that, why use such an unstable platform?

Again WordPress.com’s /dev/null swallowed half of a post I just finished. Too often I have written a post and pressed ‘Save’ or ‘Publish’ to instead being asked to login to my account. Not able to go back or have the page reloaded again when logging in again. All lost.

This time it just swallowed a part of it, but still, that was about 20 minutes of typing and about at least 400 words. I’m not too concerned about those 20 minutes. It’s more about the words. Of course, I will have no issue finishing it, again, but it won’t be the same words. Something I created will feel incomplete.

I’ll try to finish tomorrow…
